On an apocalyptic future Earth, the world is a barren wasteland and we see all survivors living in harsh conditions. A few people live in groups and others live as scavengers, with the most dominating group being the War Boys, who are loyal servants of their leader Immortan Joe. The War Boys worship Joe as a god and those with his mark on their forehead risk painful death if they ever leave him. For them, their survival is dependent on being in mandatory armored vehicles. Their only purpose in life is to serve Joe's will. The group's leader Max Rockatansky, a former cop, known by the name "Mad Max", has traveled to the Wasteland searching for the girl he loves the most, but when he finds her she has been captured by Immortan Joe. Before he can do anything about it, his car explodes and Max barely survives. Max uses his flame-proof clothing to survive in the wastes of post-apocalyptic Australia. He encounters a group of survivors and rescues their leader Nux. He then meets a woman known as 'The Imperator' who is in charge of a very unique group of "War Boys," that have been completely enslaved by Joe's Immortan War Boys. She claims that some years back, some humans attempted to overthrow Joe and failed, leading to the death or enslavement of all the women and children. Max discovers that The Imperator has been hiding him from Joe and leads him to a school community called Eden, where he reunites with his girlfriend, Furiosa (Charlize Theron), the head mechanic of the rebellion against Immortan Joe. The women of the tribe lead a life free from men and War Boys, and they intend to keep it that way. Angered by the treatment Furiosa received at Joe's hands, Furiosa convinces Max to help her rescue the Five Wives, female brides of Immortan Joe, who have been kept in captivity for breeding purposes. She hopes that their escape will spark a revolution against The Citadel and its leader, Immortan Joe. There is also a third main character: Nux (Nicholas Hoult). He is one of Joe's top lieutenants and his de facto 'son'. He is also an inbred bandit who was raised by Joe after his birth mother died in childbirth. He is heavily implied to be Joe's "favorite" son, which leads to Nux's hatred of Max. As the film progresses, Nux becomes less and less loyal to Immortan Joe and wishes to take over the Immortan regime for himself, but Immortan Joe doesn't agree with that idea because although he loves Nux like his own son, there must be a strong Furiosa as well as Max Rockatansky as the strongest leaders beside him. cfa1e77820
